egr help:( im sorry

Featured Replies

I currently have an 2005 vrs with 35k on it. Turbo blew at xmas there and finally got a new one a few weeks ago. The car have a remap and iv just ordered a pd160. My question is will a egr deletion kit benifit my car? i understand what the egr deletion kit does but would i see a benifit even though my car isnt really tunned. Im due a service aswell so im thinkinng about getting a pipercross filter rather than a skoda one. Am i going down the right route here and will i see any benifits?

also would i be better off buying a proper induction kit instead of one of the pipercross filters?

egr wont make any diff power wise and imo stick to panel filter..

Good time to clean it (and intercooler) and fit elephant mod. BTW I left the mod in place for the MOT and no comments made. It is a single tube to a bottle behind the radiator so clearly visible. Pipercross great as you can clean every 5K. At 25K a year it's very cost effective.

If you fit one of these your engine will breath 100% clean air, worth doing in my honest opinion.

egr deletion kit you mean?

The engine only breathes 100% clean air if you re-route the crankcase vent to atmos / catch can as well. :) But that takes nothing away from how good the EGR delete is.

/\ i agree ;):)
