Wheel Fitment Help

Featured Replies

Had the chance of buying a set of 225/30/18 wheels tonight, and wondered if the extra width will fit? I think they are 7 1/2 or 8" wide.

Are the wheels too wide to put the most popular 205/30/18s on.

Cheers, Mike

225's wont fit, you'll need 205's

you may be able to fit 215's at most but they may even rub.

after re-reading, you can fit a 205 on an 8" wide rim without hassle, will give a stretch too

Damn, they looked sweeeeeeeet as well.

Cheers. . .

215/35 tyres dont rub with the ideal offset and width.

can you even purchase 205's in 18's lol

Best set up for 18's is 215/35/18

here's mine on that set up...

Moral of the story is 18's are shiite

and the alloys were 8" wide too

That looks great!

I know there not practical, but i was offered them for £150 so was worth putting them on for a while, (if they had fitted)

Take it the 215 18s had no rubbing issues?

215/35's are the best your getting i believe...

I was on coilovers however and the tires hit the inside arch on both sides on full lock and caught at the back with passengers or over bumps... really not practical and tire noise was deafening :thumbdwn:
