Hi all, just bought a Octavia VRS which I pick up on Wednesday. I had a long test drive yesterday and was very impressed with the whole package of the car. It has built in sat nav (is this a good system?) & rear parking sensors. I had a quick look round this forum and must say it is very imformative and well run. Looking forward to learning lots from this site.

Welcome to the site :)

Is it a Mk1 or Mk2 vRS?

The sat nav on the Mk1 is ok I believe but doesn't do postcodes.

Mk2 then

Welcome :)

Hello and welcome. I find the sat nav unit to be very good on the whole, until I go onto a newly built bypass...lol Also find the parking sensors to very usefull too. Have you gone petrol or diesel? Enjoy

Thanks for the reply, I went for the petrol as I only do about 5000 miles a year.
