Have carried out an auto scan on my superb and received 4 fault codes all saying intermittent. I do not have any problems with any of the areas the codes relate to so can I just clear the codes and see if they come back again. This won't do any damage or alter any major settings?

yes just erase them and see if anything returns

It depends on what they are really.

Save a copy of the scan, erase them and re-scan the car and see what if anything reappears,

what are the faults?

Log attached with codes. Sorry there are 6 areas of fault codes not 4.

Thank you

I'm guessing the radio has been replaced -

Address 56: Radio Labels: 3B0-035-186.lbl

Part No: 3B0 035 186 D

Component: Radio BNO 0102

Coding: 00400

Shop #: WSC 00000

No WSC and be worth checking the coding.

This relates to the ABS one - 01119 - Ross-Tech Wiki

The others with the CAN might be connected - Clear them off and see if they come back.

Do you have a CD changer John?

yes - its in the boot = 6 stack

yes - its in the boot = 6 stack

Possibly the solution to your coding issue then, the current coding of the unit doesn't include a CD changer. When you code it you may also want to set the sound characteristic for the Superb/Passat chassis.
