thank god i got a karcher again

Featured Replies

Decided to give the car a quick wash today, yes washed on Tuesday and a quick sprinkle over on wednesday after our day out. But today it was dusty and a few calling cards from the local feathered freinds at Allams yesterday.

On way back i stopped off to collect my kindly donated (by gilly) Karcher that had worked its way down from the midlands to london and now up to oxford, attaching my attachments i found it didnt properly fit but did its job to add the AG shampoo to the car in a snow foam effect and left it for a few minutes to eat into the dirt. Then 2 bucket method and wash mit washed the car. Rinsed off with the pressure washer and then on a light setting ran the hose over the car. Whilst still wet sprayed on the AG aquawaxed and wiped away the water with a micro fibre cloth. Once done i went around a second time with a dry MF cloth and then touched up a huge stone chip on the front.

The car was waxed twice last time with collinite which i find never gives it its full potential till after the next wash and now with a light spray of AG over the car which helps disperse water and remove the chalky water marks (hard water area) this is the outcome:

Thanks again to gilly the pressure washer certainly has made a difference !!

For some reason, I can't view your image enlarged. I just get an Imageshack welcome page. I've had this before.

Thanks. Looking good :)

Yes looking very good for this time of year mate

i finally managed to try my new HD foam lance with my trusted (and some years old now) Karcher 620M... talk about bloody brilliant the snow foam and poorboys shampoo mix ;)

it caked the car with really thick foam, tbh i could have probably got away with less foam and shampoo, as the HD lance was on the minimum setting...

I didnt have the time to do anymore than that though... but its great getting the warmer days now eh :)

i wished i got a picture of it a week ago after it hadnt been done for a few weeks and was like a dirty grey colour with all the road salt, snow and mud on it.

i also gave mine a good rinse underside too... jesus the amount of grime and salt that came off was shocking

exactly what i did to mine, had to put the lance on to wide spray so i could get under it and also around the wheel arch where tons of crap came out. just wondering if there are any jet washes anywhere that spray water up like the car wash (but with out the spinning scratchy things).

Get a karcher underbody lance..works wonders

yes please, linky i want one lol

hmmm could i justify £30 just for an underbody lance... when there is talk about centralising IT @ the uni where i work... maybe not :o indeed

same as i thought considering the other pressure washer i had was less than £30 and a hose held under the car is just as good.

No it's not, the power is fantastic, and it gets to all the little nooks and crannies.with a powerful blast
