By inference, the larger ECS 2-piece rears for the TT will also fit...

Though unless you plan on warping rears, maybe it's a bit of overkill. :)

how the hell can stock calipers work with 308mm discs?

You just space the caliper out!

:wrthless:

I have herd that the rear brakes on the TT will fit the fabia all you need is the carriers to fit the vented discs as the caliper is the same, not sure if this is true?

The caliper is the same on the 4x4 yes, its just the carrier that is different as the mountings are different as the 4x4 doesn't have a rear beam.

Nice to know they bolt straight on. I thought they must do as a chap with a 1.8T 9N Polo fitted them and they do look better behind the wheels.

But very little if anything in terms of performance increase?

Nice job anyway, worth getting some pics up if you can :D

I reckon on a car with ESP there may be some benefit if you 'use' it a lot ;) - otherwise it will be visual only I would guess. Still, if you've got the parts, why not ;)

if you go for the bigger backing plates the fixing holes need widening a little...
