in my opinion if you can't post constructively then what's the point? I am a noob (wtf is a noob) and I have questions... now i'm thinking if all i'll get is the standard 'use the search' or 'damn noob' then what's the f'king point! Proper way to encourage new members is that!

noob is newbie as in new to the forum.

I tend to agree with you! If your just going to post and say use the search then dont bother posting at all. There are loads of usless threads and posts so i dont see why someone asking the same question causes such a commotion.

I am sure someone will come along to tell me why however.

I answered the question too. I was just pointing out that this has been covered before, the last one being 1-2 days ago?

I didn't call anyone a "noob" and I wasn't meaning to insult anyone. Sorry if you took it that way.

Totally agree with the noob bashing post! Having had it myself (after actually asking this question about the mystery button) it really makes you feel like your not supposed to ask qustions.

At the end of the day if someone's asking for help I'd either give it or not, don't get the keyboard warrior thing and think it detracts from the friendly forum feel.

That said briskoda is still far better than other forums

had me tea... watched the footy... done some yoga (not) and feeling much calmer now.

this forum has been invaluable to me in choosing and learning about my vRS by reading many posts from people who obviously know their stuff.

perhaps all i'm trying to say to you old hands and senior posters is, take it easy on us 'noobs' eh!
