06 vrs alarm keeps going off

Featured Replies

Since returning home tonight SWMBO's car alarm keep going off. It happens at random times.

I've closed all the vents inside the cabin but that hasn't made a difference. Is there any way to check vagcom logs or something to see why it keeps going off?

Thought I'd give this a bump as it's started going off again.

It's not done it since I first posted this so it is certainly a strange fault.

The only fault to show up within Vag-Com is an intermittant radio reception fault.

Ours was doing this and the dealer changed the battery under warranty as it was showing low voltage

mine kept doing this and it was the sensor behind the interor light, also try the bonnet switch these seem to be the most common two

Hi

I must admit , I do believe that the interior monitoring sensor can have issues

(the one behind the mirror) but as been said , matt may be worth getting a diagnostic check , as that will come up

Sarah

Could be the bonnett sensor, something to do with water getting into it.

mine did this earlier this year. Skoda replaced the bonnet sensor as this is what caused all the alarms when they checked.
