Hi all, excuse my ignorance. I have done a search but can't find what I am looking for.

I have a 2007 Octavia VRS and it has a Jumbo box with the aux connection which I would like to use. I have not as yet got an MP3 player, can anyone suggest which one to go for and where would I get a lead to connect the MP3 to the aux connection in the jumbo box

I have an ipod and that works great but any mp3 player would be able to be easily connected to the plug via the headphone socket. The benefit of the ipod is that you can connect it via the docking connector and get better quality sound than just through the headphone socket.

As for cables the ipod can use:

3.5mm In Car AUX Audio Cable Lead Connector for iPod UK on eBay, also Car Kits, Apple iPod Accessories, MP3 Player Accessories, Consumer Electronics (end time 04-Mar-09 18:55:24 GMT)

Or for other mp3 players:

3.5mm Car AUX Stereo Audio JACK Cable Lead For iPod MP3 on eBay, also Other Apple iPod Accessories, Apple iPod Accessories, MP3 Player Accessories, Consumer Electronics (end time 22-Mar-09 16:41:17 GMT)
