problem with traction control

Featured Replies

hi there everyone.

im new here. i bought an octavia vrs 20v turbo a few months ago and its been going great. the other day i was going up a back road and the traction control cut in when the wheels started to spin where it was a bit muddy. after that the traction control light was on and pressing the ASR switch doesn't make any differnce it wouldn't come back on. about 5 minutes later the engine management light came on. i guessing that is to do with the ASR not working. the wheels spin for a past time without it so i need to sort it out. does anyone have any ideas???

welcome, best post in correct section for a faster response.

Hello :)

Hiya.

You'd be better to repost this in Skoda Support, under Octavia 1 or Octavia 2 as applicable to your car. When you do, if you could add whether or not there is any evidence of the ABS being faulty, that would help narrow things down too.
