Hello, I'm Tom from down in Portsmouth.

I haven't got a Skoda yet but I am hoping to get a Mk1 Octavia vrs pretty soon.

All my mates are telling me I'm too young to get an Octavia (I'm 24) but I've always liked them, I can't seem to find anything else that offers such handy performance for such a low price.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any threads which might help me out? What to look out for, what mods are best ect?

I'm sure I'll be down in JKM with a shopping list soon!

Hiya.

Your mates are wrong; we've a number of members who bought a vRS as young as 18 or 19. Ok, this was usually a Fabia TDi, but the point still stands

In fact, one of our members bought his first Skoda last year, at all of 15 years old!

One of the scourges of Greek roads are abandoned motorcycles. Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse

Hi Everyone, I have been investigating how I can replace the decorative trim pieces on the console of the O4 (see attached picture (version I would like). The easy part has been figuring out the general part numbers, however I get stuck on the specifics. I know the O4 has two technical variants; one with stock leds and one with RGB leds, and that there is a multitude of different codes for all the different colours/textures. This might be just a coincidence. But I have just had a new windscreen fitted following a rock being thrown up by a lorry's wheels hitting it, which left a small chip, which after a few days became a long crack and was growing. The screen was replaced last week, and yesterday I discovered the seat was not responding to the controls. I cannot see any fuse listed in the owner's manual which states it supplies power to the seats. The driver's seat is working as usual, which made me think it must b
