Eventually fitted my cruise control with helpful advice from VRStu and Lummox (thanks guys) and while everything was in bits i also fitted my headunit.

Yesterday, being the first time i need to to move the car, i noticed that the air bag light wouldnt go out. Ive taken the steering wheel back off and double checked that i had connected all the plugs back together, yet the light still stays on. Any ideas what ive done wrong or could it just simply need resetting? I dont have VAG-com, is there anyone close to Middlesbrough with it?

If you put the ignition on with the bag disconnected it will have logged a code.

Hmmmm pretty sure everything was connected before i reconnected the battery. Guess its a case of find someone with fault reader to see if it can be erased.
