The red UVMV coupe is one of a small series made outside Skoda, opinions vary but in theory 'officially' 6 were made as complete cars, a couple more sold 'as parts' and then the body moulds 'disappeared' so in the 80s a handful of hillclimb specials appeared with thin replica bodies on home-made chassis/floors.

The originals are fitted to heavily modified S100/110 rolling bodies, but not in a simple way that would have suited sales as a 'kit car'. AZNP/Skoda didn't want to get involved in series manufacture, for the old financial/political reasons.

Upír z Feratu.

a film worth getting as the Upir (Vampire) car takes part in the Rallye Skoda, later Bohemia, around Boleslav.

And also because the female star, Dagmar Veskrnova later became First Lady of the Czech Republic when she married President Vaclav Havel.
