Greek Skodas

Featured Replies

Just got back from Athens, watching the Olympics, and the place is overrun with yellow Octy diesel taxis (they seem to be getting everywhere now!).

Also saw:

(1) Silver Fabia RS with ABT badging near Piraeus metro station, had several other mods and a VERY loud exhaust indeed  ; and

(2) Red Octy RS with ABT badging and tints parked near Marina Zea in Piraeus.

Either of these anyone from the Board? Also, I assume that Skoda in Greece officially allow ABT tuning?

.... anyway, think you would either have to be mad, or love cleaning your car, to have a black car in Athens .... the amount of dust that covers everything when the wind blows in amazing.

Hello Stu,

Did you watch all the hockey? I thought we were fairly dire - a lot of work to do before 2008!

Are you still thinking of a remap? We can meet up if you want spin out (not literally) in mine :)

Watched mens hockey semis, and mens and womens finals and 3rd / 4th play-offs ... didn't watch any GB hockey as we were dead and buried by then

TBH the beach volleyball and athletics were much more fun to watch and had better atmosphere. Greeks did a brilliant job of the games though

Will give you a bell re: spin in your RS ... im still wondering whether its worth it at the moment given some of the recent threads re: actual differences following remaps so might make me make up my mind. Cheers :D

Ok mate. Whatever the figures say my car has changed from quick to QUICK!

I was in crete the other month and saw loads of skodas but no rs's.
