i think the battery need's replacing on my 1,2 fabia 56 reg 12,000 miles.

tle last few weeks it's been struggling to start from cold.today the car cut out after driving a few yards (this afternoon in the car park at work).

can the battery be replaced under warranty ?

Is the battery turning the engine slowly? I would book it into the dealer to check the car out. It could be one of many different things causing your problem.

I doubt very much if the dealer will cover the battery under warranty, but you never know

Battery should have a standard 3 year warranty from new, but not covered by any extra warranty taken out after standard warranty expires. Charging circuit will need testing, as there are a couple of common problems that can happen with the alternator side of things.
