RR graphs for standard 2.0 TFSi VRS?

Featured Replies

Has anyone got a dyno graph for their standard VRS (petrol) that they would be willing to share? I have a flat spot on mine at 2.5k and want to see if it is 'typical'. I reckon the answer is that it shouldnt be doing it but would be grateful for a comparisson

Hmmm, although the scales are different, torque does seem to dip at a similar point. I will have to get the excel graphs out so i can scale them both the same and compare it better.

what gear are you getting this flat spot in.

get a remap that'll get rid of the flat spot, lol

There are several examples in this link should help you find what you are looking for

LOL not looking to remap, or even make any changes Suspected that there might be a problem, mate told me to get it rolling roaded since it might point me in the right direction - and i think it did really. Will tell if it did or not once i've spoken to the dealer - gonna try the nice approach first then huff and puff is necessary.

Whilst i pride my self on sensing the smallest change in the 'feel' of the car, i am not in any way good with mechanics - there is plenty i dont understand in that area! Flat spot might not be correct term - a dip in the torque curve is perhaps more accurate way of putting it. Basically drops from about 235lb to just over 220lb between 2,400 and 2,750 revs, and then climbs again before slowly dropping back down.

4th gear they used, according to the thingy print ;)

Scanned it at work but it was a pdf so cant be hosted (not with someone with basic computing abilities like mine anyway) Short term solution being a crappy mobile phone picture of the report - but it's the only way of getting it up here right now.

Be interested to see the dyno for a stock CR TDi vRS if anyone has one?
