I read the handy post by SMSTEXT on connecting an ipod to the aux connection via some wires connected to the rear of the HU to an ipod via a lead he got from Maplins.

My question is this: Is it possible to do this at the cd changer in the boot area to save taking out the HU?

I have a 55 plate Elegance estate with stream HU but no Aux connection in the centre consule. As this is not an mp3 stream HU I presume I can still access the aux setting to play the ipod?

if you can work out what the left, right and negitive wires are it be worth a try. not had a look personally and have no need to. have found this on ebay that might be more to what you need?
