What made you move to the Scout from the 4x4 by the way? Just curious, was it a mk1 4x4, or did the Scout offer something the 4x4 didn't, or was it just the "new car itch"?!

4x4 was the Octy II 1.9 TDI, purchased before the Scout was released - The 4x4 was coming up to three years old, and the Scout had the extras I wanted (and some I didn't - but they're great to have anyway), and the deal on the Scout and P/X price for the 4x4 really made it a no-brainer decision :D

did you drive it at the highway? how is the travelling noise at 70-80mph...

I suppose the engine upgrade was quite an incentive too! Looks great anyway. I'm gonna have to try and ignore this thread now, incase I start wanting a Scout...
