Wheels are like new now. Well done BJV engineering full refurb £140, consider this a free advert, top job.

Looks a good job

Oh no they certainly don't. I have heard loads of good reports about them and found them very helpful. My dad had his cherokee alloys re done and they were honest about the diamond cut finish where as a few other places I phoned kept very quiet.

Your wheels look really good.

Steve

Nice

Very nice, be nice to see them on the car.

Davy

Which A3 are they off?

If they're off a Mk2 they'll be 112 PCD. Have you tried them on the car?

Yep, I hope you're not going to tell me they suck

No - just posted the link to save others having to google them

They ain't, they are TT wheels.

They ain't, they are TT wheels.

Ahhhhh........Thats why I didn't recognise them as Mk1 A3 wheels!

Another vote from me for BJV. Picked up my newly refurbished TT comps from them on Thursday last week

Look good. And as Ross says, those are from a TT.

Heard good things about BJV too

Steve

I've asked them about setting up a trade account........

Well now I'm confused

I was told these are off mk1 A3.

They are like the TT comps but slightly different in that they don't have the large scooped out dish bit in the middle of the wheel. Its no matter, they still look cool whatever they are.

Tried to get them put on the car this weekend but the bloke at kwikfit was all like, you want to put these wheels on that car, are you sure. Will they even fit, are the bolts the same, are you sure the tyres will fit, then he hit me with you'll have to wait 2 weeks for the "paint" to harden, we can't put them on today. I was a bit wtf? Its like he didn't want to take my money. Maybe he was right though, never done anything like this before, and I wouldn't want to damage the wheels

the bloke at kwikfit...

Theres a mistake, kwik fit are a bunch of ar$e monkeys. They usually seem to be chomping at the bit to open your wallet though

The hardening bit sounds like a possibly sensible idea? I know paint repairs etc. can take weeks to harden properly. Call to BJV tomorrow?

If you can, I'd allow a couple of days with them stored at room temperature.

Were you getting tyres fitted for them at KwikFit, or just getting them put on the car?

I was going to get them to take the current tyres off my standard alloys, put them on the new alloys, balance them and then put the new alloys on the car. I don't have tyres for the new alloys (and can't afford any atm).

Nah, they are the wheels off the 150/180 bhp Audi TT.
