Looks like I can make this one after all as Murray Skoda of Newton Abbot in Devon have been bloody brilliant. Alison the service manager really pushed for goodwill and saved me £1200 for a new turbo even though I had to pay £300 for labour. They had the car done by yesterday (a day after the turbo came in) and gave the car a full wash and valet. A total difference from Sherlodge whose service staff a very abrupt and unhelpful IMHO. If and when I buy a new Skoda it will probably be from them. Dad has a place down there and I go there a lot.

Give Beadles at Aylesford a shout. Had the vRS in there for a few minor tweaks and adjustments. Seem a good bunch so far......... I can PM you the number if you want, or see the review section.

If it's a main dealer or extended Skoda warranty, then it should be fine. Best to give them a call first.
