i have just brought my first skoda

it only cost £150 nearlly all service history

but a few faults eg wheel arches someone has had a go at getting rid of rust

no sun roof as got smashed so a piece of plastic

clutch nearlly all the way to top

so need to know where to buy cheap parts eg rota arm dis cap ht leads etc

and where to go to get sunroof and clutch at good price its a 1.3 estate 1996 and live in norfolk near cambridge lincs borders:confused:

local scrappy! if your mechanically minded then get a clutch kit off ebay and fit it yourself

as for the arches if you have never done body work then i wouldnt try it yourself because theres no way you will get it right without being shown how to do it.. you can see the ripples if one little bit is standing a mil proud of the rest so for a 150 quid car its probarbly best to leave it alone get the rest from your local motor factor

The clutch might just need adjusting, rather than being worn out. And please don't tell me the Felly has an automatic adjuster, because these have been known to fail!

AFAIK the Felly didnt have an auto adjuster, oh wait its called a spanner!!! :D

I have a sunroof on mine, not much use since the car is gone plus the clutch was changed 12 months before the head gasket died!!
