Warning beeps

Hello

I'm the proud owner of my first Scoda - an Octavia Estate 4*4 first registered in September 2005. Its got 97,000 on the clock and has got to the stage of its life when its developing its own character. So far so good, but it does beep a lot. The seatbelts particularly don't seen to know whether they're correctly fastened or not. The lights are quite enough to make me ask all passengers to check, but the beeps I could do without. Is there anyway of turning these off? Or do you just get a different beep telling you the original one's been disconnected?
