Hi All !!

I've just bought a 2002 Fabia estate, 1.4l petrol. It only has 54,000 on the clock and passed the Irish car test (NCT) no problem recently.

But, when I'm stopped and idling (at about 800rpm) I feel that the engine is shuddering a little too much, definitly not purring quietly, reminds me of a diesel engine. Is this normal, or something that I should be worried about ?

When driving along I feel no shudder at all.

Any advise much appreciated :-)
