Any ideas when the Octavia will get the 140 TDI CR engine that seems to be comming to the rest of VW / Audi, rather than the PD unit fitted to current cars?

Not an proper answer, but in Denmark as far as I know, the only CR being released is 2,0 TDI CR 170 + 2,0 TDI CR\DSG 170. These should be available for order within next month.

I think i heard June somewhere. I recall a mag, Auto Express I think, saying the CR would arrive in Spring. Not sure when Spring is exactly!

I wouldn't have thought any new 2.0 PD engines are being manufactured as most new VW group models, eg Seat Exeo, seem to be getting CR so it's probably a matter of planned run out of stock. The recession may mean fewer new cars are being builtso possibly thee could be a delay in introducing CR, but I'm only speculating.
