Track Day?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I'm going along to this. I'd be grateful if you could let me know whether I have to pay any extra? It's basically 15 minutes on the Castle Combe track.

Cheers!

In my opinion I would not bother. I never have. I always drive to within 90% of mine and the car's ability, and if the crap does hit the fan, then I will put it down to experience. Worth finding out though. Do you remember my PM about the £4 ;)

Hi Jase,

Yeh, sorry, hadn't forgotten! I'm waiting on a mate to get back to me and let me know if he's coming as a passenger, so I can send you the payment together- hope that's OK?

No worries. Hope Flux get back to you shortly. :)

humm, the more i read the more im ****ting myself lol

f******g don't worry about it. :D Think about the next time you're at a 120+mph closing speed with another car on a section of single carriageway A road.... What would it take for a real nasty accident to occur there? Not much. Then picture a huge wide road, everyone going the same way, everyone driving fast but within their own limits, marshalls on hand, lots of grass to go into in most places, and a huge field of corn in the middle. :D It would take some serious stupidity to have a major off in my opinion, at least in comparison with being a similar muppet on the public road. :)

Thanks, Dan. PM'd.

As I will also be attending that meet and experiencing the joy of lapping Combe it would be good (if possible) to have something general that all your policy holders can see

As it would be good to know what kind of financial expensive would cover the worst and most of unlikely outcomes on track

Thanx

Cliff

Hi Cliff

Unfortunately, none of our insurers will do 'stand alone' track day cover. However only a small minority of our schemes will do track day cover. Any Adrian Flux customers on here are more than welcome to PM me their details, and I will get each individual policy looked into.

Cheers Dan
