i told my misses i would treat her and have her car done proffessionally (its only a rover and its done 100k miles, but shes obsessed with he cars looking like mirrors but only isnt very good at doing it herself and allthough i can do a decent job dont have the time)

i would also like for my golf after its rebuilt to be done. i have seen a few pictures online of cars that enthusiasts have done and they have silver cars literally looking like chrome and i dribbled all over the keyboard. in any case im interested in what sort of prices i would be looking at? if im allowed to ask anyway?? :S

couple of hundred for a full day's work I should imagine (top of my head) to include claying, rotary polishing, etc etc.

Prices vary from company to company, but as a general rule, full valet to very high standard £80 (roughly 4 hours work). If you get into paint correction territory (scratch and swirl removal) anything up to £600 and beyond.

just for a guide to professional correction services... (there are obviously many more companies) depends just how detailed you want her car in the end i suppose
