Buzzers

Featured Replies

Can anyone help when I leave my lights on there is no buzzer and the same if I leave my keys in the ignition what can the problem be

if you leave your lights on and keys out and no noise its a drivers door latch

Well maybe. Does the LED in the driver's door work correctly? If not, it's the latch. If it does, I'd suspect the buzzer's been turned off (but why anyone would do that...)

can i fix it my self or do i have to take it to a dealer

Is the interior light working with the door?

Ali, if you have to buy a fairly full VAGCom specially, it would be cheaper to go to a dealer, but if it's just been turned off it can be turned back on.

The interior light dos`nt work when the drivers door opens

I dont think anything has been turned off as it use to work before it just stopped working

It's probably the microswitch in the door latch then.

main lights warning buzzer doesn't work on my Fabia - any ideas how it could've been turned off?

It could also be a fault with the door switch on a Fabia. Do any of the other warning sounds work, such as indicators, low fuel etc?

If none of them work, the fault is with the instrument cluster.

Hi, this is my first post on Briskoda - I have the same problem with my 05 Fabia VRS - No 'lights on' warning buzzer.

I've check the fuses and they're all ok, The interior light works correctly, as do the warning 'bing bongs' etc, so I'm guessing that its the microswitch in the door latch (i might be wrong however:D).

If it is the microswitch, can this be replaced? if so any idea how? or is it a replace the whole latch job?

Thanks in advance :)

Not sure how much of this applies to the flabia mind you.
