As requested, here is the photoshop you asked me to do: black roof and RS4 wheels, think these are the (newer) ones you asked for. Thanks to MLuton for the pic.

Phil's car is PHAT.

Gota be in my top 3 atleast.

Vinylroof???????? It is a bit seventies isn't it. You would still have to clean & black the vinyl which is more work than your normal wash & polish. If its grained vinyl it is very hard to keep black the small crevices go milky and to clean properly you will need a small stiff brush like a nail brush to make a thorough job. I had a Cortina 2000GXL back then and was a lot of work to get right, believe me. You may find the corners & edges lifting after a while and would also find harder to sell on.:thumbdwn:

I think "seventies" vinyl, and this vinyl is very different. As far as I can tell, the vinyl these guys are puttin on their cars is exactly the same 5 or 7 year stuff that vans are sign-written with.

Yeah the guys who i was getting to do the job was getting in a special reel of vinyl thats was stronger and stretched well. Was a very glossy finish that would just wipe clean! However after seeing the pictures of the silver vrs with the black roof im contemplating getting it actually sprayed now lol! Defeats the cleaning object but a paint finish will always outlay the vinyl!

Good vinyl will last you 5 years or a bit more, and no fading as its a flat pigmented colour not printed, so I reckon getting it wrapped rather than painted is a very sensible decision. Will you have the car in 5 years even?
