slightly "rattly" window when ajar

Featured Replies

When I have the driver's window down an inch or so I can hear the glass/door rattling somewhere when I go over bumps in the road, or similar. Is there something I can pre-empt happening (such as the infamous glass dropping into the door thing....) ??

Or just drive with the window right up of course. :D

Funny you should say this i have the same but dunno wat it is and sods law when ever it goes into skoda it stops grrr

I've have the same thing on my VRS from new. My other fabia has never done it - and the one I had before that never did it either.

Pete

Same happens on my fabia vrs from new too, i just either have it fully up or fully down :D

Mine has done this from new as well

mine only rattles when closing the door with the window half open, seems fine when driving.

try turning the music up

ill get my coat

Mine does exactly the same and also rattles slightly when it's cold and it's cold.

Does anyone with any technical standing know what this could be and how it could be resolved?

i'd like to take it to a dealer but they have took the michael in the past so they may just laugh in my face.
