Good value service, MOT and tyres?

Featured Replies

Hello

I have a Vrs 06 reg soon coming up to the 80k service, plus new tyres fairly soon and an MOT due. Hopefully not probs as in good condition! Does anyone know a good dealer or specialist in the East Midlands/Anglia area. I'm looking for the cheapest prices but also someone competent to do the work.

Plus I may (sadly) decide to sell and by a nearly new Fabia 3 1.9 (credit crunch!). Does anyone know a dealer that has a good reputation for value in the area and also does anyone have any experience of trying to sell through Briskoda. I know I will get more privately but don't want to risk Autotrader etc (dodgy people turning up etc).

Answers to all or any of the above gratefully received!

Thanks

Hello

I suspect I was a bit greedy with so many questions on one post! The one I'd like an answer to most is the "good inpendent" to cut the service cost. Or even a franchise if that's possible. Answers to the other queries still gratefully received of course!

many thanks

Hi,

East Mids is still a little veague but my inital reaction would be Jabba outisde peto.

I've yet to use them myself but my car is going in there next service etc and I've never heard a bad word about them.

May be a bit out of your area but I've had excellent service from DSB Autocare of Bulwell Nottingham (open 7 days/week). Former Skoda main dealer technician - now set up his own business.

DSB Autocare. Newcastle Street, Bulwell, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire NG6 8AW. Tel: 0115 977 1004.
