Alloy VRS badges and Steering Wheel badge

Featured Replies

Seen some nice VRS badges on eBay for the alloys and the steering wheel, but was wondering before i buy i am asking for advice on the best way to put them on.I believe others have done so on the forum and was wondering do the new badges go on top of the existing ones on the alloys and the same question for the steering wheel.

Thanks

p.s.I love this car and only had it one day lol, already done the air con mod, and ordered led lights for the interior.

sorry i meant the Climatronic Quick Off Button :)

Maybe the one where you remove the centre button on the Climatronic, break off a tab and - Presto! You can turn off the aircon by pushing in the button.

Mind you I don't find the default method of switching it off overly taxing mentally! :P

Hello bertie1249

I bought and fitted some gel badges and found the Skoda Fabia VRS wheel centres are not flat but dished, after 2 weeks I had 2 left, one each side. The steering wheel centre would not allow gel badge to sit correctly as centre is not flat but bevelled, and centre was a fair bit bigger than the gel badge.

However I bought a Skoda boot badge and stuck it to back of license disc, with some double-sided tape, as badge is not flat at the back, but is bevelled, that looked good.

Also bought 2 VRS boot badges from Skoda and placed one each side, on the front doors, just above the black trim, that looked great.

Good luck with the badges though.

Best Regards Ian. 22/03/2009

Well the wheel badges have stayed on but as Ian mentioned the steering wheel badge is bevelled and the badge didn't stay on for long.Never mind the wheel ones look good.
