Anyone got this fitted to their Skoda?

Just ordered it as an option to my Octy as it plays MP3 but the dealer wasn't sure on specs. Therefore anyone know how good this unit is power output. The dealer tells me it is a single in dash CD that plays the MP3 disks with a standard 6 CD Changer in the boot that doesn't support MP3's. I am also told it comes with 8 speakers.

The octy comes with 8 speakers as standard, 2 in each fron door, 2 on the rear deck and 1 in each rear door.

My dad is in the same boat... about to order a TDi elegance.. and he wants mp3s but the actual details are a bit sparse... tho he will be going for the 12 speakers :D

I'd be interested to know how good this sounds.

It looks like replacing the standard HU is going to be quite hard on the new octy

If the Octy headunit is the same style as the new new Mk5 Golf then there is already a facia panel out for it !!! VAG part and about
