fabia pads do not have sensors

i'm guessing you are getting the pads from a motor factor, the rear pads fit various other VAG models , some with, some without wear warning wires

Hello,

As told earlier not wired, you can always nip them off anyway as only one wired each side usually.

In good house keeping you will never run your pads to the backing plate.

In what state are your rear discs? if rusty (pretty much guarantee'd) then get a kit consisting of a pair of (solid original) brake discs and set of rear pads.

Got a "Mintex set" c/o E.Bay £42.00 incl. postage last year, shop around.

If you do change rear pads you will need a brake caliper reset tool, as pistons need rotating back (clockwise both sides) as pushed back into housing.
