My Octy vRS

Featured Replies

I have only recently joined the forum so I thought I would post up some pics. Nothing really out of the ordinary but I am stoked with my new Octy (so is the wife..and that is really saying something as she has up till now been so indifferent about cars).

Very nice. An ozzie too!

G'day! You picked the best colour.

Thanks for the welcome fellas. We are starting to see a few more Skodas on ozzie roads but I think it will take time for the company to gain some brand recognition down here. All they really have got to do is get people to try these cars, because once they have, the value for $ and quality will sell themselves.

As for the colour this is the first white car I have owned and I am so happy with the choice of colour. My last few cars have been dark metallic blue or black and it was a constant battle to keep them looking good. White is very easy to maintain.

Cheers for the link, that white combi looks awsome and those black B pillars look magic, am seriously thinking about getting some. Will keep that on the down low from the wife as I have just hinted about getting it "chipped" also. It is so hard to explain to her the value of something that you can't physically touch. Anyway that is a future battle. Reckon I will get those B pillars pretty soon though.

Cheers Guys

Nick

Very nice mate,

They look simply stunning in white

Any mods planned? Or you just going to enjoy it standard for now.

I see you have the maxidot display, how about an mfd2/3 to make the most of it?

Anyway, good choice, enjoy :)

Cheers

Damian

G'day! You picked the best colour.

Agreed! Welcome to the white brigade!

Damian: Thanks mate, there are plenty of mods I would love to do (lowering, chip, MFD ect) but having just bought Octy my financial hand brake (aka the wife, sometimes even referred to as the sensible one) has been working the brake rather furiously recently so may have to wait out a little for bigger $$ mods.

Phil: You are a very bad man :P for giving me such great ideas. The white hatchback looks even better than the combi IMHO. Not a very expensive mod so may be able to swing it in the near future.

Willskoda: You are so right, white is definitely a great colour, especially the VAG Candy White.

Cheers

Looks terrific in white, my favourite colour! Always looks really fresh when polished. This is the only thing I would trade my race blue vRS for. As a standard car they look great with the 18" Zeniths.

Now it's finally stopped ****ing down in the UK I must get some photos posted.

Enjoy the car mate!

How much better can life get a new white vRS and you only have to wash it maybe once a year I could live with that.Nice motor best of luck with it white is the only color but then again I would say that:D

I love my black magic, but it does look great in white..enjoy

Looks very nice

Welcome to the exclusivity that is white vRS ownership :)

Welcome mate, lovely looking car.white is the new black:P

Hope you enjoy car washing...but good choice. Is it me or is white seeing a comeback here in the UK ?

Nice colour for a Vrs......you must like white, even the dogs white

Thanks for all the positive comments. I truly am enjoying the the car. White will be so easy to keep clean compared to my last dark metallic cars.

Nice colour for a Vrs......you must like white, even the dogs white

LOL. That is not our dog, the noisy, yapping, high pitched barking little s@*t belongs to the neighbours

Cheers
