I am wanting to order a spare key for my skoda octavia 1.9sdi 03 plate can anyone tell me how to find the part number i need to order i have found a site on the web Hickleys but i need a part number to order any help greatly received

I don't know if this helps but I remember when taking delivery of my 53 plate vRS the keys were attached to a strip of translucent plastic which opened up to reveal 2 or 3 stickers which detailed part/key numbers. I was told to retain this should I need to order replacement keys. I vaguely remember seeing this at the back of a drawer recently. Not that my find helps you but maybe yours is in a similar place?

I had to get a new key for ma Fabia. The dealer asked me for the number but as I bought it second hand so I did not have it. He said he could get the number of the other key.
