Fabia VRS Fog Light On Ebay - Help/Advice Wanted

Featured Replies

Hi all

I cracked the drivers side fog light in my Fabia VRS the other day and i need a new one. Found this one on Ebay and was wandering if anyone had bought the same thing and whether they fitted etc, ive always been bit unsure about about car parts on Ebay. Thanks in advance.

SKODA FABIA VRS (04-) FOG LIGHT LAMP DRIVERS O/S RIGHT on eBay, also, Skoda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 03-Apr-09 23:55:49 BST)

They work fine but they are NOT genuine

Try the local Skoda dealer, as they are only about £30 brand new for original ones.

Good to hear as I'm in for a new one to be fitted tomorrow. Add in an hour's labour to drop the bumper, maybe it'll get in under a £100?

I bought one two weeks ago from Skoda dealer for £56 inc VAT and fitted myself. Some pictures on this thread: http://briskoda.net/fabia-i/fabia-vrs-replacing-foglight-bulbs/141796/

GSF (German, Swedish & French) list a part for £30 (Hella Origin), but have none in stock anywhere. I looked at the e-bay item, but the one in the picture is not for a vRS; it has front mounting screw holes whereas the vRS lamps screw in from above (hence the bumper removal). You'll be lucky to escape for a £100 from a dealer IMO.

Well, spot on. Back from dealer today. Good and quick job but £105 out of the wallet!
