F266 - Vermin repellent system contact switch

WTF does this do, its a switch to earth a pin on the instrument pack and the central locking control no other mention anywhere but it is part of the alarm!

I can only assume its for if some mouse/rat chews through a cable somewhere in the car. Maybe it wouldn't set off the alarm. Weird as how could they tell it isn't someone trying to hot wire the car.

LOL, it made me think of my brothers car in australia, which is fitted with some sort of repellant alarm system to keep Kangaroo's away from the roads, its silent to human ears but scares the bejesus out of roo's....

Well, you wouldn't want one of them coming through ur windscreen in the dark.....
