Looks good

Glad you didnt spray them blue ;)

Andy - Hurry up and get bored of your angel eye lights n your front grille :P :) lol

They look really smart! Tie's everything in together nicely! Your motors coming on leap and bounds, seems you've done something new every time I log on :)

I keep giving this mod some thought, and I reckon I'd be ok at getting them out but the only thing that concerns me is the quality of seal when they get reassembled, how did you find it? Doesn't the glue dry out?

I'm just worried I'd end up with condensation in the lens come next winter.

Thanks :)

Good point. lol

It's easy to get together and they've got pretty tight clips on.

Come to think of it I could of heated up the glue again to make it easier and seal it evan better.

Hmmmmmmmmm... .. :)

Sounds like I may have to do this then at some point.. but I dunno, my cars black so might do em a different colour.. we'll see I guess.

Got your blue badge yet? ;)

Looking good. Get a photo from further away tho.

fabiash: Did you just spray them with gloss black, or did you laquer them?

How meny coats of paint did you do?

reflex88: Black cars look good with an off cream (tanned cream is the only way I can think of describing the colour).

Looks very Euro'ish.

Dave

I did mine in Jan a fiddly job but well worth it. You can get them off ebay but they are about £90 quid. It cost me £1.50 for paint and a little time. I used plastic primer and matt black paint for mine.

Regards Chris

Which do people prefer the look of, matt or gloss?

Bare in mind my grill surround is going gloss black soon.

Decided not to get it as it wasn't a blue badge it was just a normal badge but faded!

I just put 3 coats of paint on after sanding it.

No primer or lacquer as it isn't going to be scratched as it is sealed.
