Everytime I reinstall the operating system on my IPAQ with new firmware updates it ask's me to give my ipaq a name for when I sync it up. I have to give it a new name everytime or it tells me that name is in use.

Anyone know where the file is that keeps these names as I have search through the registry and can't find anything in there ? I want to delete this file and start again.

OK I found where it was in Windows XP

C:\Documents and Settings\{Administrator}\Application Data\Microsoft\ActiveSync\Profiles

Where the Administrator is your username in windows. Just delete all the profiles in there to start afresh.
