access to rear dampers?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I´m about to change my dampers and I´m wondering how to access the rear ones.

Can the small hatch circled in on the attached picture be removed or do I have to pull the entire comsole out?

Any ideas....

Thanks JonA.

Any special tricks or things that would be nice to know?

Is there anyone with access to technical drawings that have a drawing with locations of screws and so one?

UPDATE.....

After having spend 45 min removing the interiur plastic trim in order to gain access to the rear damper mount, I found that the rear dampers was not mounted inside the car............

All I had to do was removing the plastic inner lining in the wheel arch and there it was.....The damper mount....

I forgot to take pictures bot I hope you understand what I mean....

So hopefully some useful info for others...
