Hi, my name is Greg Walsh, I have a problem with the reversing lights on a yr 2000 Felicia 1.3.

The problem is that the reversing lights come on occasionally when the car is going forward, especially when there is a change of speed (e.g braking).

The reversing light switch has been changed, but the problem persists. I suspect an intermittant short in the wiring.

Does anybody have any idea where this short might be? Also, does the reversing light switch connect to ground (ground side switching) or +12v (high side switching)?

IME these problems are usually caused by a misadjustment of the switch, or it being on a bent bracket.
