one word...............

Money .....

or lack of it

I got my vRS a week ago. It's not the face lift but came with Continental Sportcontact 2 tyres. They seem ok but then I am still running in so still being a little gentle with it.

The Speakers in the front are ok-ish but the rears are naf. A couple of 6*9s should work wonders on the rear parcel shelf. (My next job in the next couple of weeks).

The head unit is not too bad on cd play but the tuner is rather (I mean very) poor.

Yes it has an alarm.

I get a few clicks from the passenger door and occasionaly from the dash, but it's no worse than most plastic car interiors. In fact it's better that some previous cars I've had.

I find the standard head lamps pretty good.

Overall its a good little motor, you'll enjoy it if you get one.

oh god dont do 6x9's thats a bit chav lol

Nothing wrong with a pair of decent 6x9s mounted under a stealth shelf.

Works well.

Sorry. Can't understand what you've just typed there!

ok shall re write it

oh yes there is something wrong with 6x9's they tend to be all bass rather than sound quality. what you need is a nice set of components upfront and a set of coaxials in the back. but if you want the 6x9's i aint going to try stop you.

Thank you. That's better!

Depends on personal preference & how much money you're willing to spend.

The front speakers in my Ibiza are decent enough, but the rear ones are crap.

I put a decent pair of 6x9s mounted under a stealth shelf & it's ten times better! Spent a little over

yeah i know but i suppose i just dont lik eto cut corners. but never mind we are all different as you say:)

I used to spend thousands on ICE in my previous cars. Now, I'm not that bothered (Is this a sign of getting old?!!!).

There's no point really. Road noice etc, interferes.

I tend to find 6x9s a waste of time, the move all the music to the rear of the car and produce too much bass, get a **** hot pair of coaxials up front...

im not saying spend thousands just a few 100 really
