ok i have been on ebay trying to find some different front lights for my fabia vrs ,

found some but the lady over the phone said is yours the facelift or pre-facelift

i didnt even know there was a difference:(

the one im getting is a 54 plate on a 2005 , what would mine be ,and what are the differences

There's no difference in the front lights fitted to either a pre-facelift or facelift Fabia.

Try a search for the other differences

Hi Adam

As Wardy says there are no differences between the front light between one and age and another.

Only difference would be that you may find a car fitted with (optional) xenons rather than standard lights - IIRC easy way to spot these is the headlight washers.

but whatever you buy from eBay should fit although it might be worth posting a link to the item so someone with more knowledge can confirm

One other small thing to note too is they did change the front fog light when they face lifted the bumper (or so I've been told).. but I believe the vRS fogs & bumper remained unchanged.

I what way are these ebay lights "different"?

I know that there is a difference in the REAR lights, the earlier ones (on my 2004/04) have 2 bars of clear lights (reversing + Indicators). The later revamped ones have these clear ones in a C shape.

The non-vRS fabia changed there Front Fog lights from rectangular fog lights to round ones, like the vRS, I'm not sure when they did thou. The only different Headlights are ones with Xenon bulbs, these have round 'projector' lenses.

If your thinking of buying the headlights with the black inserts like these...

thats the link, i hope u like them ,the one im now having to pick up tue instead of today (the buggers)has not got the projectors in them so i hope it will be a easy swap:) just look a little less crome which is what i like ,

if any body knows if i can get them cheaper elsewhere then please say and what u think of them to

just saw the previos post , and yeah that is what im looking at ,i think it will be paint time then

I just took mine out and painted the insert black.

saved me £100!

But they are in gloss black which I should have used.
