Hello Peeeps

looking to get myself some lovely summer hoops for my baby fabia (mk2)

and i know people are buying left right and centre, REPLICA wheels, oem style but not at the oem price. Wonderful! However ive heard people say that the quality has alot to be desired. And that there is stupid amounts of people selling them, do they all come from the same factory or what? Now I ask this cos we are in the vag group...sought of. And ive seen some people on here with such wheels so... am looking for some good old feedback, good, bad, in the middle how the age etc...

Am looking for ether 17" or 18" and as you might have already guessed im liking the look of the whole range rs6 rs4 the gti style and so on, but because of the apparently poor quality I take it its things like weight, forge markings etc.. Ive got a mk2 fabia sport with the 15mm suspension, but i still think it looks like it wants to go 4x4ing. Its also red with a white roof, does anyone think perhaps a white wheel might look abit tacky.

Your thoughts please, and if youve got any pictures, its a good excuse for some photo whora6e

I have replica RS4 wheels on my Mk1 fabia. Not had a bit of bother with them at all. The only bother I have had with aloys was with a set of Team Dynamics alloys, which arent replicas, which cracked... Twice...

Most people will tell you they arent the same grade of Alloy, they are softer etc. I would use them again

i have replica rs4's no probs at all.

I once had a set of pro race 1.2s wheels, and the finish was dire, not a massive fan now of rimstock has to be said :(

White wheels would look pretty sweet on your car what with the white roof , some 17 or 18 inch multispoke style wheels , Speedlines perhaps?? U might need to slam it even more to get the desired effect tho!

cheers mate its an idea i was playing in, to paint the front calipers red, drop by around 40mm front and rear, and go for something like the gti style wheel and have it powdercoated gloss white!

is any one here a photshop god ??
