Guys,

I take it there are loads of you guys out there driving a yellow one, and i'm starting to come around to the idea myself. Is there any chance you could fully convince me by posting up some of your cars that have been tastefully modded?

That grill is really cool, was it just a straight swap for the original or have you just sprayed the original.

Likewise with the wheels, what colour is that? If i'm to go yellow thats a must, was it just a scratching followed by a couple of coats then laceur?

I got the grille surround from someone on here, it is the standard one but it was gloss black when I got it (the chrome had been keyed with coarse grit sandpaper before it was sprayed). I just sanded it down and resprayed it satin black.

The wheels have been powdercoated gunmetal grey.

Kay's cars a belter..........but i do remember it being a tad slow :P

How much was the splitter? Was it hard to fit?

Splitter is only around £22 - not £50

And black fog light surrounds (as seen on Mud Puppy's car and recently added to mine) are less than £10

Yeah I bought the car a while back. Drove it threw the winter (50 mailes a day) with those wheels on and killed the lip with salt. Spent 2 days hand polishing so now back to a reasonable level.

Cheers boys but viewed that one today over in Essex. Now apart from the dull paint work, scuffed alloys, stained seats and faded spoiler..... It was a good car. But I'm afraid the worst thing about it was the colour!!!! Now I know that's going to offend some of you but all I can say is that maybe it looks much better when it's polished and modded because I wasn't keen. So back to the drawing board it is!
