i got fed up of trying to keep my white carpet clean so i have dyed mine with some black fabric dye from asda cost me about 4 quid a lot cheaper than buying a new and the breakers wanted 50 quid for a second hand one and its really easy to do only to 24 hours in total , i started by removing the bottom half of all my door seals then remove the plastic seat belt and sill covers and remove all the mat holding screws then the drivers foot rest , then i took out the bottom half of my rear seats easy to remove then take out the two front seats remove the plasticfrom the runner rails then the two 13 mm nuts hold them in at the front of the seat and unplug the wire on the drivers one once they am out remove the center console from arond the hand brake once thats out you can remove the white carpet , once its out i hoovered it off and washed out the bad soiled areas then its ready to dye it and i used a large wheelie bin to put it in fill it up about 3 parts the way up with warm water i used the hose on the mixer tap then pour the packet of dye into the water and use a broom stale to mix it up about 2 mins is enough then i folded the carpet in four a put it in left it about 6 hours and turn it around stir it every hour or so after it had been in for 12 hours i took it out of the water and rinse it with the hose then used the wet and dry hoover to get the most of the water out then left it to dry for a hour then refited and it looks great i will see if i can get so pics done

Where did you buy the dye and what type? Does it really look good? Massive saving on £200 and will certainly want to change mine to black when i by an octy soon. Would it be more likely to fade tho?

yeah, me too, I think it sets off the interior, and gives it some character(although it IS hard to keep clean)
