hi guys another problem with my car the rear wheel baring has gone and it needs sorting but ive been told i cnt just get a baring on its own because it comes as a complete unit as a part of the hub. is this true?? or is there another way around this?

It is true I'm afraid but the difference in price isn't as damaging as you may imagine. About £25 dearer than the front bearing

Have a look on -bay as gsf parts sell the octavia rear bearing kits complete for around £38.I got one from them a few weeks ago and they only take about 20 minutes to change.You do need a 12 sided socket to undo the hub nut tho.30 MM iirc. hope this helps.

Maybe a bit more but as said its a doddle to change.
