Hi Guys.

My wife has run a Felica 1.9D for the last 4 years and the time has come for a change.

We have bought a 2003 03 Fabia TDi Comfort with aircon.

I haven't seen the car yet, pick it up next week, but have the specs for the 2004 cars.

Can anyone tell me the spec changes between 2003 and 2004?

I know the 2003 Comfort doesn't have a a cd player but does it have rear speakers?

Does the 2003 TDi come with all the ABS and ASR etc?

Does the aircon option come with automatic temperature control?

Any more usefull info would be great.

rear speakers yes, abs, asr yes aircon is optional but alot have it

I might be wrong but I didn't think comfort came with ASR?

ASR is related to the engines. The TDI and 1.4 16v had it fitted while the less powerful engines didn't have it.

I know the car has optional aircon fitted but will it just have a hot/cold dial or an automatic temperature control as the 2004 cars?

Its just hot/cold mate as for remote locking it should have but no gaurentees

I'm pretty sure it's just a cold to hot guage rather than "climate control" which replaces the blue to red bars with temperatures. I'm pretty sure this only appears on the Elegance and vRS trims prior to 2004.

I've read in Deisel car that the tdi is fitted with a cabin heater that warms the inside of the car while the engine is warming up.

Is this standard fit and is it any good?

I must say that in the winter my Tdi Elegance warms the interior pretty quickly.

Alot better than previous cars, I like the heated seats aswell...nice warm bum on a cold winters morning...hehe!

It does indeed have rear speakers, ASR, ABS, remote locking and the Air Con does have Climate temperature control not a hot/cold dial so better than we thought.

Very pleased with the deal.

Well we still don't have the car yet, during it's pdi they had the power steering warning light come on. It's been to the dealers and they couldn't fault it but on the way back the light came on again.

Searching the forum it seems the steerng angle sensor failing is quite common. The dealer is having another go Friday.
