0% Offer - early ordering

Featured Replies

Morning.

Seeing as Skoda have kindly announced 0% finance and free servicing for orders up to end of June, I'm looking to order my Fabia replacement soon. Either an Elegance or L&K

Seeing as I'm on nights now, I'm not going to be able to get to my dealer any time soon.

Does anyone know if I place an order now, can I still arrange delivery for September time?

Thanks

The 0% is only on the facelift Octavia models and all deals must be registered on or before 30th June 2009 to apply.

You can still get the 15% discount offer on Fabia's and Roomster's until the end of June though.

Sorry, should have been a bit clearer.

Replacing my Fabia with a Octavia Elegance or L&K.

I guess you can specify delivery date in the order, just means it may get built earlier than you need it.

Is this deal across the board? I can only find it available on 1.4 (80 bhp) and 1.9TDi models.

Its on all Model Year 09 Octavia's except VRS Limited Edition.

Minimum 30% deposit over max 36 months

You will be able to stipulate delivery but not registration, so even if you asked for delivery on sept 1st it will be on an 09 plate ie registered within the offer time.

Not heard that before. When I ordered my Fabis in 06, I placed the order beginning of August for deliver/collection end of October. It arrived on a 56 plate.

The way I read the offer its 09 model year ordered before 30th June I'm told lead time is approx 10 weeks.

No registration stipulation.

Me too.

I take it the deposit can be your trade-in?

It seems ages since I last ordered a new car....

I was going by this

That reads to me as 'Registered' = order placed.

Confusion in this case caused by 'registration' meaning 'orders placed' me thinks.

Definitely orders placed by.

You took the words out of my mouth.

The problem will be the finance. The quote and acceptance will only be valid for 30 days. So even if you ordered at the end of June, the acceptance will be invalid by the end of July, unless the offer continues, the dealer would be unable to reprocess the finance application at 0%.

To confuse it even more, I managed to mail my dealer and they say it's only valid for delivery by end of July unless Skoda UK agree there are extraordinary reasons for the delay.
