USB connector

Featured Replies

Hi All

I have just bought a skoda mk1 superb. i like the dash layout and dont really wanna change the stereo. I dont use cds and tapes however i do use USB keys. I have a MP56 stereo which has a usb connector however i would prefer to convert the existing stereo if possible so i can make use of the steering wheel audio controls. Is this possible?

I am also looking to install a simple parrot ck3000 BT kit.I had it in my previous car and it worked a treat. Nice and simple and no thief will look at it twice.

Came across the following:

Tow bar and towing specialist - tow bar supply and tow bar installation Bristol

Unlikely without huge cost and changing the stereo. They'll work with any VAG/Skoda unit.

It's a bugbear of mine when people swap the stereo, then sell the original on leaving any new owner without standard features

Seems like the Solisto Classic fits the bill. Trying to locate the cost implecations

The Blaupunkt unit should be able to have an adaptor plugged in to use wheel controls

i llike the idea of sticking with the stock stereo as it works a treat and i dont need to worry about taking the face off and hiding it. The dash is very simple and not complicated with numerous buttons. the blaupunkt will spoil this. The track navigation on the mp56 is the worse i have ever seen. Any owner of one will back me on this.
